You can use the "Attachment" service

to add an attachment to a PDF document.

The "Attachment" service is based on the "Toolbox" web service.

Add attachment

You can use this dialog box to add an attachment, as an icon, to a page in a document. You can also add a tooltip text and specify the colour you want for the icon. You can use the "Fixed position" option to specify whether it will be possible to move the attachment icon once it is added.

Annotations are positioned with the position selection function. For more details, please refer to Area selection. If the attachment is added at the document level and not on the page, you will only be able to select the file you want.
